Hey guys. I know, I know.. long time no update, right? I am currently hanging out in my friend Dani's room, watching some dance movie, and waiting for my hair to stop being a little bitch so I can dye it. I've been back at school since the 11th, and I am so happy to be back.

I started my concentration class, Painting I with Peter Clive. I absolutely love it. I've only had one class, and I already feel like I've learned. Drawing II with Marjorie is awesome! Favorite teacher so far? I think yes. I don't really like 3D yet, but me and my friends have a goal of getting Lauren, our teacher to say "I kill you" by the end of the semester. Why? She looks like Achmed the Dead Terrorist, one of Jeff Dunham's puppets.

I'm pretty happy with what I've gotten. I'm obviously not too pleased with my 2D grade but it's my fault. First semester complete. I am prepared to kick next semesters ass.

I'm still home, and I'm pretty bored. I haven't really done much besides work. However, I think it'll improve with the days to come. I'm especially looking forward to Dan's Epic Christmas Party. I've had a lot of eight hour shifts, which is essentially hell when you're in the deli. My right arm is now noticeably stronger than my left, haha. It's money, though, and I really need it.

Christmas was nice. I got an Ipod that can actually hold my entire music collection. It's name is Lord Oliver Cromwell XIII. Yesss! Season 1 of Dexter and season 2 of house, too. I got my mom National Treasure 2, she was extremely happy with that one. She never gets sick of those movies. XD

My classes for this semester are officially over. I have yet to receive all of my grades for my classes, but I did get two of them. My drawing I class is an A-, and I am extremely happy about it. I worked my ass off in this class, and I was actually surprised with this grade. My grade for 2D Design is unfortunately a D+, but it's passing, so I'm alright. It's a tough class, and the one of the toughest teachers, as well. I did work hard in it, it was just difficult. I do accept responsibility for the grade, I probably should have worked harder. I'm glad that I passed, though.

I'm going home tomorrow morning, and honestly, as much as I'm looking forward to it, it's gonna be strange to be away for an entire month. After living here for a few months now, it's just gonna be odd. I can't wait to go home and see everyone for a month, though.

On a side note, there's a tiny canvas showing here. The pieces cannot be larger than 2x2. I'm thinking I'm going to submit a few pieces of small tattoo designs on the canvas. They're all going to be for sale, too, so many I can make some money. We'll see. I'm definitely entering, though.

It's finals week now, and I have a fucking ton of work to do. I just handed in my research paper for Psychology, and I still have a final in the class, which is next week. I have a persuasive paper on gay marriage and equality due in English next Monday, which I think I've pretty much completed. As for my art classes, well.. I have three major pieces that are all due next week. For Color Theory, I have a painting due, called Color and Music. I think it's pretty self explanatory, and I'm using the song "John Wayne Gacy, Jr." by Sufjan Stevens. For 2D Design, I have a concept piece, not dissimilar from Guernica by Picasso. We have to use a current event, and I'm using the fact that babies are being killed in China, due to poisoned baby formula. It's really terrible. For Drawing I, I have a fully developed self portrait in charcoal, on toned paper due next Tuesday, as well as my entire portfolio, which will be reviewed on Thursday. We're having a massive, class long critique, as well.

That's it for the craziness that is the finals week at NHIA. As for personal shit.. well, I'll be going home in seven days, and for the first time.. I'm not entirely sure how I feel about that. My (now former) relationship fell apart earlier this week, and I'm going home to an explanation from my now ex-boyfriend. I'm really nervous, really scared, and honestly, really hurting.

Other than that, I am looking forward to seeing friends, and staying home for an entire month. I can't wait to see everyone, and have time to just rest. I'm going to be working at Price Chopper, so I'll have some extra money for school when the semester starts again, as well as a few extra bucks for a new tattoo. I'm going to try to visit Ms. D on the Monday after I get home, and talk to her about Dan and I visiting her classes for the entire day on Friday the 19th.

On a side note, the Lord of the Rings party was awesome. <3

Well, as you can see, I purchased a subscription. It's just for 3 months, but so far so good. Maybe once it's up, I'll buy a longer one. I'm liking it.

I have a new project in 2D Design. It's similar to my Chuck Close piece, except more complicated. I can't use solid colors to shade, each one has to be a pattern or design. It's a picture of me as a baby, and I have until the Thursday after Thanksgiving to complete it. I've got some shit to do for Color Theory, too, but I doubt it'll make it into my gallery.

I've gotta start doing more personal work, all I've been doing lately are class assignments. Granted, I don't have much time to do my own work, but I'm going to try to do a little more.

I'll be home soon, and I'm really excited.
